An experience that I will put between moments of pure happiness! We crossed the backwaters on a typical boat (country boat), a sort of “gondola” led by a “gondolier” barefoot pushing her through a long blade of bamboo. In that occasion, me and my boyfriend, we had the pleasure of meeting a great person: Peter Thomas, our guide. In addiction to make us a photo book while we were immersed in that paradise of channels snaking between palm trees and other wonderful plants that I had never seen before (and this for his own pleasure, without asking anything in return) Peter made us visit a tribal village in the backwaters. The village people welcomed us warmly: they had prepared some food for us, We made us visit their houses and showed how obtained by the young incredibly strong fibers from coconuts. For the rest of the trip we have chosen to Kerala Voyages George Scaria, agency which I highly recommend.
